today im going to blog about persuasive techniques in ads or commercials when advertisers make commercials they always want to create a reason for the public to want to purchase or use there products there are many ways they could do this through bandwagoning, testimonial, stereotypes, name calling, ethical appeal, scare tactics, appeals to vanity, or appeals to pity some of these ads will demonstrate these techniques

this ad appeals to bandwagoning because mcdonalds will hire all nationalities and will hire you to so that makes you want to work for them because they don't discriminate no matter what race you are

this ad is an example of name-calling the ad says that progresso soup has an ingredient that is not good but Campbell's soup does not have that ingredient that is making the viewers want to buy Campbell's instead because it does not have it so it must be better for you
